FAMILY LINK HELP

Can I print a Google Family Link schedule?

Yes. TimeTiles turns the device-time rules you have set in Family Link into a simple weekly timetable that you can print, share, or put on the fridge.

Why make a printable timetable?

Family Link is where you set the rules. A printed plan gives your child an easy way to see them: when tablet time starts, when it ends, and what the daily limit means. It makes the plan visible before the inevitable “Can I have my tablet now?” conversation.

How to print your Family Link device-time plan

  1. Open Family Link in Chrome and sign in to the parent account you use to manage your child’s device.
  2. Open the page that shows your child’s device-time settings.
  3. Open the TimeTiles extension. It reads the schedule displayed by Family Link and creates a child-friendly weekly view.
  4. Check the times, then choose Print to make a one-page timetable.

The timetable makes allowed tablet time, screen-free time and daily limits easy to spot at a glance. You remain in control of the actual rules in Family Link.

Questions parents often ask

Does TimeTiles change my Family Link settings?

No. Keep using Family Link to set and update device-time rules. TimeTiles gives you a clearer, printable view of the schedule it sees.

Do I need a TimeTiles account?

No. TimeTiles is a Chrome extension and does not ask you to create a TimeTiles account.

Can I update the timetable after changing Family Link?

Yes. Return to Family Link after making your changes and refresh the TimeTiles data to create an up-to-date printout.

Make the plan easier to follow

Put the timetable somewhere your child will actually see it, and use the same words when you talk about it: “tablet time” and “tablet off” are clearer than technical labels. For more ideas, read how to explain screen-time rules to children.
